Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Services
EuropeRoots Consulting, operated by Corvin Strategies, provides citizenship by descent consulting services for Americans with Hungarian ancestry. Our services include eligibility assessment, document research and procurement guidance, certified translations, application preparation, and submission support. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals who have, or believe they may have, an ancestor who held Hungarian citizenship. We conduct an eligibility assessment before commencing paid work. Proceeding with a paid engagement indicates you have reviewed and agreed to these terms.
3. Fees
Our services are priced on a flat-fee basis per the package selected at the time of engagement. All fees are stated in USD. Government filing fees charged by Hungarian authorities (approximately $100–200) are not included in our fees and are the client's responsibility. Payment plans may be available — ask during your consultation.
4. Money-back guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If your application is formally rejected by the Hungarian authorities after full document submission prepared by us, and the rejection is not attributable to information you withheld or documents you were unable to provide, you are entitled to a full refund of our service fee. This guarantee does not apply to cases withdrawn prior to submission, or to rejections resulting from ineligibility identified after engagement commenced due to incomplete information provided by the client. Full terms are available on request.
5. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your family history and documentation. You are responsible for obtaining and submitting original documents as required. Providing false information may void the money-back guarantee and result in termination of services without refund.
6. No legal advice
Nothing in our communications or services constitutes legal advice. For complex legal matters related to citizenship, immigration status, or tax implications of dual citizenship, we recommend consulting a licensed attorney.
7. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service at issue. We are not liable for delays caused by Hungarian authorities, third-party document providers, or circumstances outside our control.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Budapest, Hungary.
